Privacy Policy

The short version
What we collect
- Email address (only if you subscribe). Signing up for the newsletter or the Cheat Sheet stores your email with our email service provider, MailerLite, subject to its privacy policy. Every email contains an unsubscribe link; one click and you are gone.
- Measurement data you enter in the tracker. Dates, axial-length readings and related notes you choose to record at app.6smyopia.com are stored in our database (hosted by Supabase) so the charts and reminders work. You can delete your account and its data at any time from inside the app.
- Standard server logs. Like every website, our hosting keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, pages requested) for security and debugging. They are not combined with any profile and are not used for marketing.
What we never do
- We do not run third-party advertising or ad cookies.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address or your child's data to anyone.
- We do not publish case data with real names. Case files on this site use pseudonyms, always.
Children's privacy
This site is written for parents, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Measurement records are created and controlled by the parent or guardian who holds the tracker account.
Links to other sites
Pages link to Amazon (the book), MailerLite (our email provider), and our app subdomain. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. The /review and buy links are plain links — they carry no affiliate tracking codes.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you may ask to see, correct, export, or delete anything we hold about you. Email hello@6smyopia.com and it gets done by a human. Subscriptions can be ended with the unsubscribe link in any email, no message needed.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version replaces this page and the effective date above moves. Material changes will also be announced by email to subscribers.
